Ingredients:
Chicken - 400gms
Sliced Capsicum -1 cup
Corn flour - 1tspoon
Turmeric powder-2 pinch [optional]
Ginger garlic paste- 2tspoon
Green chilli paste-1tspoon [as per spiciness required]
Chopped cilantro/Coriander leaves-1tablespoon
Soya sauce -1tspoon(optional)
Lemon juice-few drops
Salt to taste
Oil-1tspoon
Method:
- Take a kadai, add oil. when oil is hot add Bay leaf, onion, garlic paste, ginger paste and green chilli paste, saute.
- Add dry spices- salt, cinnamon powder, pepper powder, clove powder and turmeric powder. Mix well and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and saute.
- Add chicken pieces , close the lid and cook well.
- When chicken is completely cooked. Add the Capsicum, soya sauce and cook for 3 -4 minutes.
- In a small cup take corn flour and make a thin paste with water.
- Add thin paste of corn flour, coriander leaves and mix well. You can notice the oil separates out. This oil can be used for other chicken recipe too. Or can let it stay with chilli chicken itself.
- Add lemon juice and mix again. The tastier Andhra style Chilli chicken will be ready to serve.
