Pepper Chicken leg

When we bring chicken drumsticks or leg pieces, we get a thought how do I cook it now, because we see in restaurants, often the chicken drumsticks are made in tandoori style which is cooked in a clay oven called as Tandoor. But we can cook chicken legs in a different way too.
Yeah I have tried it, Pepper chicken legs, it was yummy. I made it and gave to my friends too and they loved it.

When I told the procedure to some of the friends they also prepared and liked it a lot and prepared it again and again because it was yummy.  The chicken legs are cooked with less effort and simple procedure by just marinating as usual and cook in kadai. The detail of the recipe is given below. Do try and let me know how do you like it.

Serving-4

Ingredients:
Chicken legs - 6
Corn flour - 1tspoon
Curd -1table spoon
Black pepper powder-1tspoon
Turmeric powder-2 pinch
Ginger garlic paste- 2tspoon
Clove and cinnamon powder-1/4tspoon
Green chilli paste -1/4tspoon
Chopped coriander leaves-1tablespoon
Soya sauce -1tspoon
Lemon juice-few drops
Salt to taste
Oil-2tspoon

Method:


  1. Marination: Chicken legs with curd, salt, clove cinnamon powder, Ginger garlic paste,Turmeric powder,chilli paste, corn flour, soya sauce.Marinate for 1 hour.
  2. Take a wok, Add oil. when oil is hot add Marinated chicken pieces. close the lid and cook the chicken completely. saute in between.
  3. Once the chicken is cooked well- Add black pepper powder,  Mix well. cook it for few more minutes. Garnish with   coriander leaves.Once done squeeze in some lemon juice and serve.
