Paneer Roast

Paneer roast is similar to paneer tikka. The paneer is marinated well with spices and fried on a pan to get this amazing , tasty and yummy paneer roast.I just tried and found it really wonderful taste. This can be prepared as side dish or snacks for all at home in the evening. Just try and let me know how you liked them.The description of the recipe is provided below.

Servings : 4 plates

Ingredients:
For Marination:
Paneer - 200gms
Corn flour/gram flour -3tspoons [taste will be different when prepared with different flour]
Curd/yogurt -2 tablespoon
Kasuri methi -1 tspoon
Red chilli powder-1 to 2tspoons
Garlic paste- 2tspoons
Ginger paste -1/2tspoon
Garam masala -1tspoon
Chicken masala[optional] -1tspoon
Food red colour- pinch
Dhaniya/Coriander seeds powder-1/2 tspoon
Chat powder-1tspoon
Dry amchur powder -1/4tspoon
Garam masala powder -1 tspoon
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow frying on pan

Method:

  1. Cut the Paneer to small pieces or cubes.
  2. Mix all the ingredients mentioned above with Paneer, Keep it aside atleast for half an hour in refrigerator.
  3. On a pan, add 2 tspoon of oil spread well and place marinated Paneer. cook on two opposites in medium flame closing the lid. It takes around 3-5 minutes to get cooked well.
  4. Transfer to a bowl and serve when it is hot.
