Pudina Fish

We have ate variety of fish dishes like fish curry, Fish fry using chili powder, Fish kabab, Fish masala. I thought to try a different version using mint leaves, green chilli , lemon and cilantro. The Fish fry was amazing to taste. So thought of sharing the recipe with you all. Hope everyone likes this Pudina Fish or Mint fish fry.
I have used Norway Mackerel fish in this recipe. This recipe will be good with fishes like Mackerel, Catfish and those which are more oily type.

Preparation: 10 min
Serves : 2

Mackerel  -10 thick slices
Lemon juice -1 tablespoon
Chopped Pudina/Mint leaves - 1/2cup
Chopped Cilantro - 1 table spoon
Ginger garlic paste -1tspoon
Black pepper -4
Green chilli -2
Salt as per taste
Turmeric powder -1/4tspoon
Corn flour-2tspoons


  1. Grind green chilli, cilantro, mint, ginger garlic paste, black pepper to smooth paste
  2. To the mackerel pieces, add the grinded masala, salt, turmeric powder, corn flour and lemon juice.
  3. Mix well and keep for marination for 2 hours
  4. Later Shallow fry marinated fishes on both sides.
  5. Pudina fish is ready to serve
