Gobi manchurian restaurant/ Chat street taste. We have always noticed that there is difference between the gobi manchurian what we prepare at home and restaurant or chat street. I tried this version of gobi manchurian with little bit of detailing. Do try and here is the complete description of procedure.

Ingredients:
For Gobi fry:
Cauliflower- 500 gm
Corn Flour- 4 to 6 tablespoon
Maida Flour/All purpose flour- 6 tspoons
Red chilli powder -2 tspoon
Pepper powder-1 tspoon
Food colour -1/4 tspoon[Optional]
Oil for deep frying
Salt as per taste
For the Gobi Manchurian sauce:
Oil -5 tspoons
Garlic ginger paste-1 tspoon
Chopped garlic-3 tspoon
Green chillies finely chopped-3
Finely Chopped/Sliced onions-1 cup
Slice or chopped Capsicum/Jalapeno -1/2 cup
Spring Onions -1/2 cup
Soya sauce-2 tspoons
Tomato sauce -2 tspoons
Red chilli sauce-3 tspoons
Green chilli sauce- 2 tspoons
Vinegar -1 tspoon
Salt as per taste
Method:
For Gobi Fry:
- Take Washed Cauliflower florets( pieces) in a large bowl.Let it be wet.
- Sprinkle 1/2 spoon of salt, Red chilli powder, Pepper powder. Toss it so that spices make coats on cauliflower.
- Add Corn flour, Maida flour, food color red and toss it again.
- Sprinkle some water and again toss it,so that the layer of flour forms a nice coating layer on cauliflower.
- Sprinkle more water if required and mix with hand. If u want to add more flour u can add, but see that it forms proper coating on cauliflower.This is ready to deep fry.
- While deep frying, add the coated cauliflower florets one by one until you have added sufficient for the oil.
- Do not stir or touch it for 2 minutes. If u try to stir with ladle, the coating will come out.
- After 2 minutes you can use the ladle and cook the cauliflower on both sides well until crisp.
- Fry them until medium crisp, that must be sufficient.
For Gobi Manchurian Sauce:
- To be done in medium high flame.
- Take a pan, add 4 tspoons of oil.
- Add chopped green chillies, chopped garlic, ginger garlic paste, mix well.
- Add finely chopped or sliced onion and sliced capsicum,let it cook well.
- Add sauces-Red chilli sauce,Green chilli sauce, Soya sauce,Vinegar( optional),Tomato sauce.cook for 3 minutes.
- Add 3 tspoons of water. Mix well and cook for a minute.
- Add the fried cauliflower. Mix well and now add spring onions and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well.
- Sprinkle few drops of lemon juice.
- Gobi manchurian is ready to serve.
