Lobster fry in Indian style

Lobster fry in Indian style. I recently prepared the Lobster recipe in Indian style. It came to be an awesome and tasty dish. Main ingredients are lobster blend well with Indian spices, tossed with onion, tomato and green chilly. Do try this recipe and enjoy.

Preparation time:1 hour
Serves: 2

Lobster-1 or 2
Chopped onion-1 cup
Chopped green chillies-2
Chopped tomato -1/2 cup
Ginger-garlic paste -1tspoon
Red chilli powder-1tspoon
Turmeric powder-1/4 spoon
Garam masala-1 tspoon
Pepper powder-1/4 tspoon
Coriander leaves/cilantro-for garnishing
Oil- 1/2 tablespoon
Lemon juice-2 tspoons
Salt as per taste


  1. Take a pan, Add Lobster,salt and water.
  2. Cook it completely may take around 15 to 20 minutes.Lobster will turn to reddish color.
  3. Remove the shell and collect the lobster meat and make it into small pieces.
  4. Take a pan, Add oil and saute ginger-garlic paste.
  5. Add chopped onion,cook until it is translucent.
  6. Add chopped tomato and well until tomato softens or blends well.
  7. Add green chillies, turmeric powder, pepper powder, red chilli powder and gram masala.
  8. Cook for sometime, add lobster meat,very little salt and lemon juice.
  9. Stir fry for 2 minutes, and add 1/2 cup of water so that spices flavor blends well with Lobster meat.
  10. Fry lobster until the water evaporates.
  11. Garnish with cilantro(optional).
  12. Lobster fry is ready to serve.
