Pomfret Fish Fry

Pomfret Fish is one of the tastiest and well known variety of fish all over the world. Pomfret fish fry will make your taste buds happy. The preparation is very easy and makes a yummy fish fry. Cooking time: 20 minutes
Servings: For 6 plates- 2 pieces each.




Ingredients:
For Marination:
Cleaned and cut fresh Mackerel fish - 15pieces
Tamarind Concentrate-1table spoon
Red chilli powder-4tspoon
Black pepper powder-2tspoon
salt-as per taste
Turmeric powder-1/4tspoon
Ginger garlic paste- 1/2tspoon (optional)
Garam masala -1/2tspoon (optional)
Lemon juice-few drops (optional)
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow Frying

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients mentioned above along with fish to marinate. Keep it for 1 to 2 hours.
  2. Take a Pan, add oil and shallow fry the marinated fish pieces by turning both sides in slow flame by closing the lid.
  3. Cooks in 6 to 10 minutes.
  4. Tasty Pomfret fish is ready to serve.
