Pav Bhaji Simple and Easy

Pav Bhaji
It is a Traditional Maharashtrian Dish from India.
Very tasty and yummy dish. We can have it like a snack, chat or as a meal.
The complete recipe is given here. Do prepare and let me know your opinion.
This is my style of preparing Pav Bhaji.



Cooking time: 30 minutes
Serving : 5 to 6 servings
2 pavs/Buns and 2 cups of bhaji per serving

Ingredients:
For bhaji
Boiled and Mashed potato - 5cups
Butter- 100 gms
Green peas -2 cups
Capsicum- 2 cups
Chopped onions -1 cup
Chopped Tomatoes -2 cups
Chopped coriander leaves/Cilantro -1/2 cup
Kasuri methi -1 tspoon
Ghoda masala -2 tspoons
Red chilli powder -2 tspoons
Salt as per taste
Turmeric powder -1/2 tspoon
Garam masala -2 tspoons
Food color -1/2 tspoon
Ginger garlic paste -2 tspoons
Pavs/Buns/Hamburger buns

Method:
  1. Take a pan, add butter
  2. Add chopped tomatoes and capsicum 
  3. Add green peas, Turmeric powder and salt
  4. Mix well.
  5. When it is half cooked add red chilli powder, garam masala. ghoda masala and mashed potato.
  6. Mix well and cook.
  7. Mash with potato masher. 
  8. Add water to maintain thin consistency.
  9. Let it be cooking.
  10. While it is cooking take an another pan add butter, chopped onions and cilantro.
  11.  Cook it until transparent or golden color and add to the Bhaji.
  12. Again mash with wooden masher.
  13. Add some water and food color and mix well.
  14. Let it be cooking while it is cooking take an another pan.
  15. Add butter ginger garlic paste and chopped onions.
  16. Cook for sometime and mix with Bhaji.
  17. Now the bhaji is ready.
  18. Shallow fry the buns on both sides by adding butter.
  19. Pav Bhaji is ready to serve.
