Pav Bhaji
It is a Traditional Maharashtrian Dish from India.
Very tasty and yummy dish. We can have it like a snack, chat or as a meal.

Cooking time: 30 minutes
Serving : 5 to 6 servings
2 pavs/Buns and 2 cups of bhaji per serving
Ingredients:
For bhaji
Boiled and Mashed potato - 5cups
Butter- 100 gms
Green peas -2 cups
Capsicum- 2 cups
Chopped onions -1 cup
Chopped Tomatoes -2 cups
Chopped coriander leaves/Cilantro -1/2 cup
Kasuri methi -1 tspoon
Ghoda masala -2 tspoons
Red chilli powder -2 tspoons
Salt as per taste
Turmeric powder -1/2 tspoon
Garam masala -2 tspoons
Food color -1/2 tspoon
Ginger garlic paste -2 tspoons
Pavs/Buns/Hamburger buns
Method:
- Take a pan, add butter
- Add chopped tomatoes and capsicum
- Add green peas, Turmeric powder and salt
- Mix well.
- When it is half cooked add red chilli powder, garam masala. ghoda masala and mashed potato.
- Mix well and cook.
- Mash with potato masher.
- Add water to maintain thin consistency.
- Let it be cooking.
- While it is cooking take an another pan add butter, chopped onions and cilantro.
- Cook it until transparent or golden color and add to the Bhaji.
- Again mash with wooden masher.
- Add some water and food color and mix well.
- Let it be cooking while it is cooking take an another pan.
- Add butter ginger garlic paste and chopped onions.
- Cook for sometime and mix with Bhaji.
- Now the bhaji is ready.
- Shallow fry the buns on both sides by adding butter.
- Pav Bhaji is ready to serve.
