Raw banana/Plantain bajji/Fritters
Plantain Fritters are very tasty and snacks for evening or as side dish during meals.
And also it is a quick, simple and easy snack to prepare.
Cooking time: 10minutes
Serving : 5 fritters per serving
Ingredients:
Thick Batter:
Gram flour- 1cup
Red chilli powder-1tspoon
Baking soda - 1/8 tspoon
Salt-as per taste
Others:
Raw banana/ Plantain -Sliced to thick/Thin pieces
Cumin powder
Salt
Red chilli powder
Oil for Deep Frying
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients mentioned above in thick batter
- Add the water little by little to make a thick batter to required consistency and it makes coat on thin slices of plantain
- Take oil for deep frying, when oil is hot, dip the Slices of Plantain in the batter and put in hot oil.
- Fry for 2 min both sides and Take it out from oil when it is golden color or well cooked.
