Brinjal Chutney/Pachadi in Air fryer


Brinjal chutney or pachadi is famous recipe in Andhrapradesh. It is a very refreshing and tasty recipe to enjoy as a side dish with food. It is prepared using brinjal , tomato, cilantro, green chilli and garlic. This also makes a very good combination for chapathi or jowar roti. The detail recipe is provided, do prepare and enjoy.

Preparation time: 40 Minutes

Indian brinjal/Egg plant:  2 big size
Green chilli - 4 to 5
Chopped Coriander leaves/Cilantro
Tomato- 2 small size [optional]
Garlic -10
Salt as per taste


  1. Keep Brinjal/Egg plant in Air fryer for 25 minutes at 400 degree Fahrenheit or until its cooked, it will become soft. Poke the Knife and check for completion of cooking.
  2. Place the Tomato along with or separately in Air fryer and cook for 12 minutesat at 400 degree Fahrenheit .The tomato should soften.
  3. Place the Garlic, green chillies in Air fryer and cook for 6 minutes at 400 degree Fahrenheit . You can place this along with the brinjal and tomato or separately.
  4. Note: Follow the video to save the time. Keep Brinjal, tomato , green chillies and garlic together in Air fryer, but in between remove each of them when their cooking time is completed., garlic should get half cooked and green chillies fried lightly.
  5. Peel the skin of tomato and  Brinjal/eggplant.
  6. Make coarse paste of green chillies, garlic and cilantro.
  7. Make paste of brinjal and tomato.
  8. Add required amount of salt , green chilli -garlic paste into above mixture.
  9. Mix well.
  10.  A very tasty brinjal chutney ready to serve.
