Cat Fish Fry


Cat Fish fry Prepared in this way is very easy, simple and very very tasty. Many people likes to eat Catfish as it is very juicy and tasty fish. Do prepare in the same way as explained in post and enjoy the tasty Catfish fry

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time : 10 minutes


Cat Fish Slices - 4 to 6
Corn Flour -1/2 Table spoon
Salt as per taste
Tamarind Concentrate -1 tablespoon
Lemon juice -3 tspoons
Turmeric powder -1/4 tspoon
Red chilli powder -1 to 2 tspoons
Pepper powder -1 tspoon
Oil for shallow frying

  1. Clean and wash the fish slices, Drain the water.
  2. Make the paste of tamarind concentrate, Corn Flour , lemon juice, salt, red chilli powder, pepper powder and turmeric powder.
  3. Marinate the fish Slices by applying and spreading the paste prepared outside and inside of the fishes.
  4. Keep it for around 1 to 4 hours.
  5. Take a shallow pan, add oil. Keep the flame in low.
  6. when the oil is hot, place the fish and cook in low flame by closing the lid.
  7. Cook on both sides for about 3 to 5 minutes each side.
  8. The tasty Cat fish fry is ready to serve.
