Byadagi Chilli Chicken

My home style Byadagi chilli chicken..That was a yummiest one. The chicken prepared with gravy of lightly spiced red dry chillies, ginger, garlic, clove and cinnamon makes it to taste just wow.
We often do this chicken dish at home and it will be finger licking taste as it is very juicy. Along with rice, or chapathi or roti or any indian bread we like to have byadagi chilli chicken.

 The byadagi chilli is a light spice dry chillies which is a known chilli variety from india. The detail of recipe is given below.                          Do try and let me know how do you like it

For gravy:
Byadagi chillis - 10
Ginger -1/2 inch
Garlic -10cloves
Chopped  cilantro
Whole Black pepper -3
Clove -2

For frying:
Chicken pieces - 600gms
Oil -1tspoon
Chopped onion -1/2cup
Soya sauce -1tspoon
Corn flour -optional
Turmeric powder -optional
Salt as per taste
Grinded masala
Lemon juice


  1. Grind all the ingredients mentioned for gravy along with little quantity of water.
  2. Take a wok/Kadai, add oil, when oil is hot -add onion and saute it to golden colour. add chicken, salt and  turmeric powder.
  3. Close the lid and Cook the chicken well, add the grinded masala and soya sauce to the chicken. cook it for 10 minutes more. Make a thin paste of corn flour and pour into wok. Mix well and cook for more minutes.switch off the stove.
  4. Add lemon juice and mix well. garnish with coriander leaves.The yummiest byadagi chilli chicken will be ready to serve.
