Chicken Drumsticks

Chicken drumsticks are very tasty and liked by non-vegetarians. Chicken drumsticks are marinated with spices , curd and herbs. And cooked on a pan. very easy and tasty dish. If it is cooked in tandoor the taste will be awesome. Tandoor is a clay pot used to cook chicken or naan and also variety dishes.As we cant maintain a tandoor in house, we can also grill in oven or outdoor grill. The detailed recipe is given below

Preparation time: 40 minutes cooking
Servings: 2

For Marination:
Chicken Drumsticks -5
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder- 2tspoon
Garlic paste- 2tspoon
Ginger paste -1/2tspoon
Coriander seeds powder-2 tspoon
Kasuri methi powder -1 tspoon
Onion paste - 2tspoons
Garam masala -1tspoon
Soya Sauce -1tspoon
Curd/yogurt -1tablespoon

Chopped cilantro for garnish
Oil for shallow frying
Lemon juice-few drops


  1. Make slits or scars on chicken drumsticks. Mix all the ingredients mentioned above in marination. Keep it 2 hours in refrigerator.
  2. Spread oil on the pan and place the marinated chicken drumsticks or grill in oven or outdoor grill.
  3. Close the lid of pan and turn on all sides and cook the chicken drumsticks  well.
  4. Chicken drumsticks fry will be ready. Add some lemon juice on it to enhance the taste.
