Different way of preparing tomato chutney using very less ingredients.. For idly and dosa.. tastes awesome. I used coconut oil for tempering as it taste superb for this recipe. you can use any cooking oil too. This chutney can also be taken along with rice or ShavigeyPreparation time: 20 minutes

Ingredients and Method:
Tomato - 3
Onion - 1/2
Garlic - 8 cloves
Dry chilli -6
Coconut oil -2tspoons
Mustard seeds-1/2tspoon
Curry leaves
Asafoetida/Hing -a pinch
Tomato - 3
Onion - 1/2
Garlic - 8 cloves
Dry chilli -6
- Add a tspoon of oil and fry all the above ingredients until tomato cooks well.
- Let it cool down and Grind to get paste.
Coconut oil -2tspoons
Mustard seeds-1/2tspoon
Curry leaves
Asafoetida/Hing -a pinch
- Add the chutney paste to the tempering and mix well.
- Tomato chutney ready to serve.
