Egg in Cashewnut Gravy

Egg curry or gravy can be prepared with different ingredients and but the method will be almost the same. I had prepared the Egg- cashew nut gravy recently and it was very tasty one. This dish will be good combination with roti or chapathi or it may rice too. The detailed procedure is given below

Preparation time: 25min
Serves :

Boiled Eggs -4
Chopped onion-/2 cup
Turmeric powder

For Gravy masala:
Dry Roasted cashew-nuts -1/2 cup
Red chilli powder - 3 tspoons
Cumin powder -1 tspoons
Coriander powder -1 tspoons
Grated fresh coconut -1/2 cup
Tomato -1
Coriander leaves /cilantro -small quantity
Garlic -5 clove
Ginger -1/4 inch
Clove -2
Cinnamon -1/4 inch
Salt as per taste
water as much as required


  1. Grind the ingredients mentioned above in masala to get smooth paste.
  2. Make scars on boiled eggs. Take a pan, add 2 tspoons of oil, when the oil is hot add little quantity of red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  3. To this add eggs and fry well to get golden colour.
  4. Once the egg comes to golden colour transfer to a plate.
  5. To the same pan add, 1/2 tablespoon of oil, add chopped onions and let it become transparent. Now add the masala
  6. Bring masala to boil, Now add the fried eggs and cook for few more minutes and its done.
