Butter Fish Fry with Garam Masala

Butter Fish is one of the tasty Fish. They are available in very small and medium sizes.
the butter fish fry will definitely makes your taste buds happy. The preparation is very easy and makes a yummy fish fry.

Cooking time: 20 minutes
Servings: 1 whole fish per serving


For Marination:
Cleaned Butter fish - 8
Tamarind Concentrate-1 table spoon
Red chilli powder-4 tspoon
Black pepper powder-2 tspoon
Salt-as per taste
Turmeric powder-1/4 tspoon
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tspoon 
Garam masala -1/2tspoon 
Lemon juice- 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow Frying

  1. Make few slits on the fish to absorb the marination. 
  2. Mix all the ingredients mentioned above along with fish to marinate. Keep it for 1 to 2 hours.
  3. Take a Pan, add oil and shallow fry the marinated fish pieces by turning both sides in slow flame by closing the lid.
  4. Cooks in 6 to 10 minutes.
  5. Tasty Pomfret fish is ready to serve.
