Ragi Porridge


Ragi comes power-packed with healthy nutrients that fight diseases and relaxes your body to function with ease. Thus, This cereal must be added to your daily diet to ensure a healthy and balanced diet. Besides this, it also helps in controlling blood sugar spikes and maintaining bone health. I prepared this Ragi porridge for my baby. No lumps formation. Do prepare this healthy dish.

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Serving: 1 cup for babies
              3 Cups for Elders

Ingredients: For 1 cup

Ragi flour -1 tablespoon
Salt as per taste
Pepper powder -1/4 tspoon
Cumin powder -1/2 tspoon
Ghee -1/2 tspoon


  1. Take a cup or glass - add ragi flour and water to make it a thin consistency liquid. Keep it ready.
  2. Take a Cooking Bowl and add 2 cups water, ghee, salt, cumin powder and pepper powder.
  3. Keep it on stove in medium flame and bring to boil.
  4. When it starts to boil, let it boil for 3 minutes.
  5. Now add the Ragi flour Paste into it and stir well
  6. Keep stirring and cook well
  7. Ragi porridge is ready to serve.
  8. You can add some curd into this and mix well, it enhances the taste. This is optional.
