Oats Chicken Kabab -yummy yummy!

Oats Chicken kabab is an excellent tasty recipe. Prepared the chicken kabab along with oats and it turned out to be a very tasty, yummy dish. Most of the people know how to prepare kabab with chicken or fish or mutton. The procedure is same as that of usual kabab and the only extra ingredient will be oats. I prepared with oats chicken kabab and had great time eating it with family. Why dont you all give it a try!

Preparation time: 20 min
Servings: 4

For Marination:
Chicken - 400gms
Corn flour - 2 tablespooons
Egg -1
Red chilli powder-2tspoons
Black pepper powder-1tspoon
Turmeric powder-2 pinch
Ginger garlic paste- 2tspoon
Garam masala -2tspoon
Coriander and Green chilli paste-1tspoon
Food red colour- 1/4tspoon [optional]
Dhaniya powder/Coriander powder-2 tspoons
Tamarind concentrate -2tspoons
Ajinomoto/Taste powder-pinch [optional]
Salt to taste

Oil for deep Frying
Lemon juice-few drops

  1. Make pieces of chicken, size as per your choice. Mix all the ingredients mentioned above along with chicken pieces to marinate. Keep it for 2 to 3 hours or more in refrigerator. Can also marinate chicken at night and keep in refrigerator to use next day.
  2. Take the oats in a plate. Make a layer of coat of oats on the marinated chiken pieces. 
  3. Deep fry the marinated chicken coated with oats.Drain excess oil on tissue paper.
  4. Sprinkle some lemon juice on fried chicken.
  5. Tasty Oats chicken kabab will be ready to serve
