Aloo Brocoli Dry

Aloo brocoli Dry is a very tasty recipe. Very easy and quick to prepare. Potato and brocolli are good combination for roti, chapathi. It also makes tasty side dish for lunch or dinner. The description of recipe is given below.
Preparation time: 40 min
Servings: 1 cup for 3 chapathis

Ingredients:
Brocoli -1 big
Potato -2 [Cut into cubes]
Coriander leaves/Cilantro
Red chilli powder -2tspoon
Ginger garlic paste -2tspoon
Jeera Powder/Cumin powder- 1tspoon
Turmeric powder -Pinch
Garam masala -1tspoon
Salt-as per taste
Jeera/cumin seeds -1tspoon
Oil -5tspoon

Method:

  1. To a Pan add 3 tspoons of oil,when oil is hot, Add cubes of potatoes, little salt and cook it until golden.Keep stirring so that potato should not stick to the pan.
  2. Remove cooked potatoes to a plate.
  3. To the same pan add another 2 tspoons of oil,when oil is hot add cumin seeds,ginger garlic paste, Brocoli,salt. Mix well to cook.
  4. When brocoli is cooked well, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala. Mix well and fry it by continous stirring without closing the lid of pan.
  5. Add cooked potatoes now to brocoli and mix well.Taste it and if you need more spicy add red chilli powder. Garnish with cilantro. Aloo brocoli dry will be ready to serve
