Potato fritters/Aloogadde bajji

Aloo bajji/Potato fritters are very tasty, quick and easy dish. This dish is prepared by dipped the potato in gram flour batter. It can be good evening snack. Also can be liked as side dish along with food. Try the delicious dish. The procedure is described here

Servings: 1 potato can make 15 fritters




Ingredients:

Batter:
Gram flour-1 cup
Rice flour- 3 tspoon
Red chilli powder-2tspoon
Jeera powder-1/2 tspoon
Ginger garlic paste- 1/2tspoon
Baking soda -2 pinches
Salt-as per taste

Others:
Potato -1 [Cut into thick slices]
Oil for Deep Frying

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients mentioned above in batter.Add the water little by little to make a soft batter to coat the potato slice.
  2. Take oil for deep frying, when oil is hot, dip the slice of Potato in the batter and put in to hot oil. Fry for 2 min both sides and Take it out  from oil when it is golden color. Drain excess oil on tissue towel.
