Potatoes Gravy is a spicy side dish for rotis, naans or can also be mixed with hot rice.
The potatoes are boiled and then mixed with hot mixture of spices to get a yummy gravy.
Preparation time:30 minutes
Servings: 1 cup gravy per serving
Ingredients:
Boiled Potato thick slices/pieces -2cups [Peel the skin of boiled potatoes and make thick pieces]
Chopped Onion-1 cup
Chopped Tomato-1cup
Curry leaves
Chopped Coriander leaves
Ginger garlic paste -1tspoon
Red chilli powder -2tspoon
Cumin Powder- 1tspoon
Coriander powder -1tspoon
Garam masala -2tspoon
Turmeric powder -1/4tspoon
Curd-2 tablespoons
Kasurimethi-1tspoon
Salt-as per taste
Oil -1tablespoon
Method:
- In a Pan take oil, when its hot add chopped onion, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, Kasurimethi, tomato and salt.
- Add red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, Garam masala, coriander leaves and mix well.
- Switch off the stove let the mixture become warm.
- To the warm mixture add curd and mix well, Again switch on the stove.
- Add a glass of water, boiled Potatoes and mix well and cook until potato absorb the spices and for desired consistency gravy.
