Chicken Drumsticks gravy is a spicy, delicious, juicy chicken dish which is very easy to prepare with much less effort and very simple ingredients. You can always adjust the spiciness by using less spices. Chicken drumsticks gravy makes a good combination for roti, parathas, naans and rice too. Do prepare and hope you like it.

Cilantro/coriander leaves -1/2 cup

Bay Leaf -2
Curd/Yoghurt -1 cup
Ginger paste -1tspoon
Garlic paste -2 tspoons
Pepper powder -3/4 tspoon
Red chilli powder -2 tspoons
Turmeric powder-1/4tspoon
Garam masala/Chicken masala powder -2tspoons
Salt as per taste
Water 4 cups
Oil -2 tablespoons
Method:
Ginger paste -1tspoon
Garlic paste -2 tspoons
Pepper powder -3/4 tspoon
Red chilli powder -2 tspoons
Turmeric powder-1/4tspoon
Garam masala/Chicken masala powder -2tspoons
Salt as per taste
Water 4 cups
Oil -2 tablespoons
Method:
- Keep ready all the above ingredients
- Take a pan add 1 tablespoon of oil, when it is hot add onion slices and fry for sometime.
- Add washed turmeric powder and chicken drumsticks and let fry in oil for about 10 minutes and the raw smell vanishes.
- Transfer the chicken to a bowl along with the stew if water has released while frying chicken.
- To the same pan, add a tablespoon of oil- when oil is hot add Bay leaf, Ginger paste, Garlic paste. stir until the raw smell of ginger garlic paste goes off.
- Add some quantity of chopped coriander leaves.
- Now add fried chicken drumsticks and stir for 5 minutes.
- Add red chilli powder, pepper powder, salt, Tomato puree, chopped coriander leaves and garam masala/Chicken masala powder.
- Switch off the flame , let the chicken gravy become warm.
- Add 1 cup of curd and mix well.
- Switch on the flame and start cooking again.
- Add required quantity or 4 cups of water
- Close the lid and cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
- Chicken drumstick gravy is ready to serve.
- You can prepare chicken drumstick gravy or dry. To get dry chicken drumstick, evaporate the water.
