Chicken Majestic

Chicken Majestic is another dish which tastes awesome. It is a variety prepared in most of the hyderabad non-vegetarian restaurants and it tastes yummy. I prepared this at home and really really enjoyed the dish. For sure its a very good starter. This dish is very easy to prepare , just say simlilar to kabab or say manchurian, but the ingredients used makes the difference. So try this awesome recipe and sure you will like it.

Preparation time: 30min

For marination:
Chicken cut into strips-300 gm
Corn flour-1tablespoon
Ginger garlic paste-2tspoon
Oil -2tspoon
Red chilli powder -2tspoon

Oil-for deep frying

For Tempering/Seasoning:
Oil-4tspoon [use same oil used for deep frying]
Finely chopped ginger -1tspoon
Finely chopped garlic -1tspoon
Curry leaves
Red chilli powder-1 tsp
Turmeric powder -1/4tspoon
Coriander powder -1/2tspoon
Cumin powder -1/2tspoon
Finely chopped mint leaves-2tspoons
Curd- 2 tablespoon
Salt as per taste
Soya sauce-3tspoon
Lemon juice
Chopped cilantro to garnish


  1. Marinate the chicken pieces along with the ingredients mention in marination.Keep it in refrigerator for an hour or more and then deep fry.
  2. Take a wok/Pan , add oil, add chopped garlic, ginger and saute for 3 minutes, add curry leaves, chopped mint leaves and all the dry spices mentioned in seasoning.Saute well for few minutes , then add the soya sauce.Stir well. In simmer, Now add curd and mix well until oil oozes out.
  3. Now add fried chicken pieces and mix well. check the taste for salt. Cook for another 10 minutes with stirring.
  4. Garnish with lemon juice and cilantro. Chicken majestic - ready to serve.
