Cut mirchi Chat

Cut mirchi chat meaning the fritters of low spice Chilli to be cut into pieces and with addition of onion, green chutney, carrot and salt made as chat. It is sold in many hotels and also it is a street food. The chilli bajji is itself very tasty but when the masala and onion is added it will be tasting much amazing. Ingredients:
Batter:
Gram flour-1 cup
Rice flour- 3 tspoon
Red chilli powder-2tspoon
Jeera /Cumin powder-1/2 tspoon
Ginger garlic paste- 1/2tspoon
Baking soda -pinch
Salt-as per taste

Others:
Chilli -4
Jeera powder and salt mix
Lemon juice 
Onion-1/2
Coriander leaves
Grated Carrot 
Lemon juice
Oil for Deep Frying

For Sweet Sauce:
Tamarind concentrate 1tablespoon + 1/2 tspoon Jeera powder + Jaggery powder or sugar as per sweetness required 

For Green chutney:
Pudina/Mint leaves 1tspoon + Coriander leaves 1tspoon+ Salt + Green chilli 3 [All grinded to paste]

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients mentioned above in batter. Add the water little by little to make a  required batter consistency to make bajji/Fritters
  2. Chilli is cut into required size and filled with  Cumin powder/jeera -salt powder mixture and lemon juice.
  3. Take oil for deep frying, when oil is hot dip the chilli in the batter and put in to hot oil. Fry it in medium flame and once it is done remove from oil and drain excess oil on tissue towel.
  4. Cut the chilli bajji to required size and mix  with sweet sauce, green chutney, chopped onion, coriander leaves,grated carrot and lemon juice. Cut Mirchi chat will be ready
