Dried Fish Fry is an interesting, tasty , simple and quick recipe to prepare.When you crave for fish and you just have dry fish at home, you can make this recipe and it will be a tasty side dish with rice and rasam. This is prepared from very simple and daily use ingredients.
Preparation time: Soaking of fish 20 minutes
Marination 20 minutes , frying 3 minutes.
Serving: 4 per serving
Ingredients:
Dry Fishes -20
Salt as per taste
Red chilli powder -2 tspoon or less
Lemon juice- 1 lemon
Ginger garlic- 1tspoon
Turmeric powder -1/4 tspoon
Corn floor-2 tablespoon
Food color-1 pinch (optional)
Oil -100 ml
Method:
- Take a bowl, add water and heat it. when its boiling switch off the flame.
- Place the fish in hot water for around 20-30 minutes. it will become a bit softer.
- Remove the fishes and clean them out by removing unwanted parts like gills.
- Make a mixture of red chilli powder, lemon juice, turmeric powder, garlic ginger paste,corn flour and Food color(I have not added).
- Add fishes and spread the paste on it. Marinate for around 20 minutes.
- Deep fry the fish for 3 minutes using very little quantity of oil.
- Tasty Dry fish fry is ready to serve with rasam and rice.
