Spiced/Masala French Fries

Masala french fries is the same as normal french fries but we marinate or coat it with spices before deep frying. The ingredients are simple and daily used ones. 
Share with your friends too,let them try this yummy recipe. I had prepared this and its an awesome tasty dish.
Preparation time: 30 minutes
Serving: 15 french fries per serving

Potatoes -1 kg
Salt as per taste
Red chilli powder-2-3 tspoons
Black pepper powder-1/2 tspoon
Turmeric powder -1/2 tspoon
Garam Masala-2 tspoons
Ginger garlic paste-1.5 tspoon or Ginger garlic powder-1.5 tspoon
Crushed Kasuri Methi-1/4 tspoon
Rice flour-2 tablespoons
Corn flour- 4 tablespoons

  1. Peel potatoes skin, cut it in shape of fingers, wash it.
  2. Keep water for boiling, while it starts boiling add the cut potatoes, cook just for 4 min.
  3. Remove Potato fingers and wash in cold water quickly, so that cooking process siezes. Allow it to dry on a cloth or tissue towel.
  4. To the dry or slightly wet cut potatoes add red chilli powder, black pepper powder, salt, turmeric powder , garam masala, garlic powder/garlic paste,kasuri methi, 2 spoons of rice flour , 4 spoons of corn flour. Mix well.
  5. Do not add water, u can just sprinkle some water, mix well. You can see masala is coated on potatoes.
  6. Deep fry them to get slightly golden color.Tasty tasty yummy yummy Masala french fries ready to serve with Mint chutney or tomato ketchup or as it is.
