Potato Kabab

Aloo /Potato Kabab is a very tasty recipe. It is prepared by marinating the cubes of potato in corn flour batter with spices.This becomes a very tasty side dish along with rice and sambar or also can be prepared for evening snacks. Definitely kids will enjoy having this tasty dish.The detail procedure is provided below. Prepare and hope you like them.

Servings: 4


For Marination:
Potato - 2
Corn flour - 1/2 cup to 1 cup
Rice Flour- 1/4 cup
Red chilli powder-2 tspoons
Black pepper powder-1 tspoon
Turmeric powder- 2 pinches
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tspoon
Garam masala -1 tspoon
Coriander and Green chilli paste-1tspoon
Food red color- pinch [optional]
Coriander powder-1/2 tspoon
Salt to taste
Oil for deep Frying


  1. Peel the skin of Potatoes, cut into cubes and boil in water for 3 min and drain the excess water on tissue towel.
  2. Mix all the ingredients mentioned above along with potato cubes to marinate. Keep it for 1 hour.
  3. Deep fry the marinated potato cubes.
  4. Serve it when hot along with tomato ketchup or as it is.
