Masala Peanuts/Spicy Peanuts/Congress Kadlebeeja

 Masala Peanuts/Congress Kadlebeeja  is a very tasty dish whenever you feel like eating something. Its very delicious and you cant stop eating it. This is prepared using roasted Groundnuts/peanuts and blended with light spices. Look for decription of the recipe here.Preparation time: 20 minutes
Servings: 1 cup per serving

Roated peanuts -2 cups
Salt as per taste
Redchilli powder as per taste
Curry leaves -1/2 cup
Oil -2 tspoons
Turmeric powder-1/4 tspoon
Asafoetida -2 pinches
Black Pepper powder -1/4 tspoon

  1. Roast peanuts, cool them  and remove the peels.
  2. Take a wok, add oil, when oil is hot add asafoetida, Curry leaves saute for a minute. 
  3. Add Turmeric powder, Black pepper powder, red chilli powder and salt.
  4. Add roasted peanuts-saute for 2 minutes. Switch off the stove.
  5.  Once its in room temperature, rub them between palms to powder the curry leaves and it blends well with peanuts.
  6. Wash your hands.
  7. Store peanuts in a well closed container.
