Ingredients:
Raw banana - 1[ Peeled the skin and Cut into Thin Slices]
Chopped cilantro -1/4 cup
Mustard seeds-1/4 tspoon
Cumin seeds -1/4 tspoon
Red chilli powder -1 tspoon
Cumin Powder- 1/2 tspoon
Dhaniya/Coriander seeds powder -1/2 tspoon
Vegetable masala -1 tspoon [optional/ any Brand]
Garam masala -1/2 tspoon
Turmeric powder -1/4 tspoon
Ginger garlic paste -1 tspoon
Asafoetida/hing- pinch
Salt-as per taste
Chat powder [optional]
Corn flour -1/4 tspoon [optional]
Oil -3 tablespoon
Method:
- In a pan take oil, heat, Add Mustard seeds, cumin seeds and Asafoetida.
- Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 1 minute.
- Add the Chopped plantain. Give a quick mix.
- Quickly add salt, Corn flour, Red chilli powder, Cumin powder, Coriander powder, garam masala,vegetable masala
- Mix well and close the lid.
- In low flame cook for 5 minutes minutes closing the lid.
- Stir in between until the plantain is cooked well. it cooks it 5 to 6 minutes.
- Then add chopped cilantro,mix well and fry for few more minutes and switch off the flame.
- Tasty and crispy plantain fry is ready to serve.
