Egg Bajji/Egg Pakoda/Egg fritters

Egg Bajji/Fritters is a basic recipe for the beginners of cooking. Easy and simplest dish to prepare. Main ingredients are eg and gram flour batter. Boiled eggs are dipped in gram flour and deep fried in oil.

Preparation time:20 min
Servings: 2-3

Gram flour-1 cup
Red chilli powder-2tspoon
Baking soda -pinch
Salt-as per taste

Boiled egg -2 [cut into required size - I have 1 egg to 4 pieces]
Red chilli powder and salt mix for sprinkling on  boiled egg
Oil for Deep Frying


  1. Mix all the ingredients mentioned above in batter.
  2. Add the water little by little to make a thick batter consistency, so that it can coat a layer on eggs.
  3. To the boiled pieces of egg sprinkle the  red chilli powder and salt.
  4. Take oil for deep frying, when oil is hot dip the Egg pieces one by one in the batter and put carefully into the hot oil. 
  5. Fry for 3 min both sides and Take it out from oil when it is done.
  6. Egg fritters is ready to serve
