Aloo Gobi Matar/Potato cauliflower green peas

Aloo Gobi Matar will be a very nice side dish for roti, naan, chapathi and also for rice. Very easy to prepare and it was very tasty too. This simple recipe is prepared as described below.

Servings: 5

Pieces of Cauliflower -2 cups
Potato -2 [Cut into cubes]
Fresh or frozen Green peas -1 cup
Red chilli powder -2tspoon
Ginger garlic paste -2tspoon
Jeera/Cumin Powder- 1tspoon
Turmeric powder -Pinch
Garam masala -1tspoon
Salt-as per taste
Jeera/cumin seeds -1tspoon
Oil -6tspoon
Chicken/vegetable masala [Optional]
Coriander leaves [Optional]

  1.  In a Pan add 4 tspoons of oil,when oil is hot, Add cubes of potatoes, small quantity of salt and cook it completely until golden.  Keep stirring so that potato dont stick to the pan.
  2. Transfer the cooked potatoes to a plate.
  3. To the same pan add another 3 tspoons of oil,when oil is hot add cumin seeds,green peas,cauliflower, ginger garlic paste, salt. Mix well to cook.
  4. When cauliflower is cooked, add turmeric powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and vegetable/chicken masala. Mix well and fry it by continous  stirring without closing the lid of pan.
  5. Add cooked potatoes and mix well.Taste it for adjusting salt and spice. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
  6. 6 Aloo Gobi Matar ready to serve
