Cabbage Manchurian

I have read in some articles which says cabbage is healthiest of vegetables. Cabbage is usually used to prepare a side dish or curry. It is also used in preparing a chat like cabbage manchurian I prepared this for first time and it was very tasty and all loved it in my home. Hope some of you will definitely try this and like the dish.



Preparation time: 1hour
Serves:8-10

Ingredients:
For the fried veg balls:
1/2 cup grated/finely chopped cabbage
1/4 cup grated carrot
1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum
1/4 cup finely chopped french beans
1/4 cup finely chopped spring onions
2 tbsp corn Flour
2 tbsp Maida Flour
Red chilli powder 1/2 tspoon
Garlic paste -1 spoon
Salt as per taste
Oil for deep frying

For the sauce:
Oil -5tspoons
Chopped garlic-3tspoon
Ginger Paste-1/4tspoon
Green chillies chopped-3
chopped onions or spring onions -1
Soya sauce-1/2tspoon
Tomato ketchup-4tspoons
1 tsp red chilli sauce-2tspoons
salt as per taste

Method



  1. 1. Veg manchurian balls:Take the finely chopped vegetables(Boiled in water for 5 min and drain the water out). Maida flour, corn flour,garlic paste, red chilli powder,salt in a bowl and knead it well and make into small round veggie balls.
  2. Heat oil for deep frying  pan. Fry the veggie balls until golden colour and take it out from the oil.
  3. Sauce: Take 5tspoons of oil in pan, add chopped onion, chopped garlic, chopped capsicum, ginger paste, chopped green chilli, salt as per taste, tomato ketchup, soya sauce, chilli sauce, stir well and boil. Then add veggie balls and mix well for 4 min and switch off the flame and close the lid for  few minutes.
