Fish head is favorite of many people and I have seen them purchasing only fish head sometimes to prepare a tasty tangy curry from it. So here is the recipe for preparing fish head curry or gojju in Kannada. I am also one off those who likes fish head a lot. As fish head takes more time to get cooked when made on pan, and sometimes it becomes under cooked. it always better to cook it in a gravy curry or gojju. Try the recipe and you will love it.

Fish head and extra pieces- 300gm
Onion-1
Coriander leaves
Tomato- 1
Tamarind concentrate-3tspoon
Crushed garlic -12
Red chilli powder-2tspoon
Jeera powder-1/2 tspoon
Black pepper powder-1/2tspoon
Garam masala powder- 1 tspoon
Turmeric powder-pinch
Salt to taste
Oil-2tspoon

Tamarind concentrate-3tspoon
Crushed garlic -12
Red chilli powder-2tspoon
Jeera powder-1/2 tspoon
Black pepper powder-1/2tspoon
Garam masala powder- 1 tspoon
Turmeric powder-pinch
Salt to taste
Oil-2tspoon
Method:
- Chop onion, tomato, coriander leaves into small pieces.
- In a pan add oil. when oil is hot add onion, tomato, turmeric, Crushed garlic, salt, tamarind concentrate and cook for few minutes.
- Add red chilli powder, black pepper powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, salt as per taste and one glass water.
- Mix well and close the lid to boil for 5 min. Add the fish head and other pieces. Close the lid and cook it for 10 minutes by turning on both sides.
