Chicken Spicy Dry

Chicken spicy dry, as the name says its spicy and dry. It is prepared along with spices and cooked until the required consistency gravy or the water is evaporated to get a dry dish.
Most of the recipes I have posted is very easy and simple, and so as this too. The detail about the recipe is given below.

Preparation time:30 min
Servings: 4

Oil -3tspoons
Onion finely chopped -1/2 cup
Chicken pieces: 400gms
Chopped Tomato -1 Cup
Byadagi chillis[Red chillis] coarse paste/powder -6-7
Kasuri methi -1tspoons
Ginger garlic coarse paste -2tspoons
Mint leaves/Dried Mint leaves powder -2tspoons[optional]
Coriander powder/Dhaniya powder - 1tspoon
chicken masala powder-2tspoons
Salt as per taste
Curd -1/2 cup
Chopped cilantro -1 tablespoon

Method:[ Adjust the quantity of spices and salt as per your taste]

  1. To the pan add oil, When its hot add chopped onion, saute. Then add chicken pieces and little salt. Let it cook well. If required can add water, but not necessary.
  2. Once the chicken is done, add all the ingredients mentioned above in order one by one except curd, saute in between. cook for few minutes.
  3. Switch off the stove. Let it become warm. Now add curd, Mix well. And again keep it on stove and cook for another 5 -6 minutes if gravy is required,or else let it cook until it becomes dry. Chicken spicy dry will be ready. Garnish with cilantro.
