Red Chicken

Chicken dry is prepared with lot of red chilli powder and its reddish when cooked so it is Red chicken dry. The red chicken dry is prepared by marinating chicken with all curd and spices, and just stir frying it until it becomes dry.The chicken dry is a very tasty and yet simple recipe for those who are learning cooking. Please try the simple chicken dry dish and let me know your opinion on it.

Servings:4-5

Ingredients:
For Marination:
Chicken  Small piece - 1/2kg
Curd/yogurt -10 tspoons
Red chilli powder-1 to 2tspoon
Black pepper powder-1 to 2tspoon
Turmeric powder-2 pinch
Ginger garlic paste- 1/2tspoon
Garam masala -1/2tspoon
Food red colour- pinch (optional)
Dhaniya/Coriander seeds powder-1/2 tspoon
Lemon juice-few drops
Salt to taste

Oil -3tspoon
Cashewnuts -10gms

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients mentioned above. Keep it for 3-4 hours.
  2. In a pan add 3 t spoon of oil, when oil is hot add the marinated chicken and fry closing the lid, until its boiled and by stirring in between.
  3. Once its cooked well,remove the lid and fry until it become dry, add cashew nuts too and sprinkle lemon juice.
