Alasande kaalu usli/ Black eyes peas sundal is a tasty , easy and quick recipe. It makes a nice side dish along with food or can be good snack in the evening. the procedure is described below

Ingredients:
Fresh Alasande -1kg [ Boiled in cooker for 1 whistle with water and salt]
Mustard seeds-1/4tspoon
Turmeric powder-2 pinch
Ginger paste- 1/4tspoon
chopped Green chilli -4
Chopped Onion-1
Coriander leaves-1tspoon
Grated coconut -1tablespoon
Salt to taste
Oil -4tspoons

Method:
- In a kadai add oil, when oil is hot Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, asafoetida, green chilli, ginger paste, onion, grated coconut and fry for few minutes.
- Add boiled Alasande kaalu/ black eye peas and coriander leaves and mix well , stir for few minutes and switch off the flame.
- Sundal ready to serve
